Ace Mahbaz, born in Iran and raised in Germany, is a London-based Director and Writer celebrated for his impact on the film across Europe. He is adept at integrating sign language and Deaf culture into his films, thereby enhancing inclusivity and enriching the storytelling experience.

Fluent in six sign languages, Ace has made substantial contributions to film as both a director and writer. His expertise in physical and Visual Vernacular has been pivotal in various multimedia productions, notably the innovative BSL TV series “Small World.”

Currently, Ace is producing factual TV series for German Channel BR and serves as a consultant in the film industry. He continues to push creative boundaries and engage diverse audiences with his distinctive visual storytelling.
